Hägglund Arena (Fjällräven Center)
An indoor arena located on the harbour with water on three sides, its capacity of is 7,350 for ice hockey games and 9,800 for concerts.
It contains three spectator levels, one restaurant and six bars, and it's the home arena of the Modo Hockey ice hockey team. Assisting to a match in this arena when Modo plays it's really something else!

Örnsköldsvik Museum and Art Gallery
The museum hosts a variety of exhibitions and events throughout the year from both local and non-local artists and creators. Their café makes it possible to have fika and relax surrounded by art.
Genesmon Archaeological Open-Air Museum
In Genesmon's outdoor area there is an ancient monument to visit. During the years 1977-1988, excavations were made at the site. The results from these showed that here had been a farm from the older Iron Age. In the archeological open-air museum you can see the reconstructed farm. In the summer, you can even go on guided tours of the open-air museum.
Galleri Lokomotiv
Gallery Lokomotiv is an art gallery run by members of ÖKKV (Örnsköldsviks Kollektiva Konstnärsverkstad) who want to increase awareness to contemporary art expressions. Their goal is to show at least 6 exhibitions per year with artists selected from all over the country.
Hans Hedberg Museum
The artist, sculptor and ceramist Hans Hedberg was born in 1917 in Köpmanholmen a few miles south of Örnsköldsvik.
He was the well-known Swedish ceramic fruit maker in international expert circles in Biot on the French Riviera. His famous eggs, pumpkins, apples, citrus fruits and plums in stoneware in supernatural size are found in a large number of museums and private collections around the world.

Sliperiet (Kulturhus H1 Sliperiet)
H1 Sliperiet is a culture house for creative outlets for all ages. Here you can discover, practice, experience and develop your cultural and creative interests. The culture house is and open to everyone. The activities are free of charge and are conducted in the afternoon and evening. The open activities during the cultural evenings do not require prior registration. There is a mini library and a café open when the activities are running. They also arrange for workshops.

The central library hosts many events for children and adults and has a wide variety of books, CDs, movies to stream and magazines for everyone. It's also possible to borrow a computer and print documents.
