Nätra mountain forest is considered one of the most beautiful cross country ski tracks in Sweden according to Aftonbladet. This group shares track conditions, group meet ups and other relevant info on how to access Nätra.
Nätra Fjällskog
Rutberget including Huggsjöstugan and Rutbergshotellet
The ski trails in Rutberget are breathtaking and ready for great tours. There are two main destinations, Huggsjöstugan and Rutbergshotellet. At Huggsjöstugan, volunteers serve semle and hot drinks, at Rutbergshotellet grilling is on offer and a nice cabin to dry off.
World class cross country ski facility in the heart of the city. Maintained by local team Hägglunds, the tracks are well maintained and offer various circuits.

Vårby
Vårby is a competitive circuit, maintained by Vårby IK but one that everyone can access and use. Lovely tracks through the forest, great for families.
Downhill skiing
Åsbacken
Åsbacken has the distinction of being one of the most centrally placed ski runs in any city in Sweden. Challenging runs abound but the kids runs are excellent for beginners.

Bjästabacken
The ski trails in Rutberget are breathtaking and ready for great tours. There are two main destinations, Huggsjöstugan and Rutbergshotellet. At Huggsjöstugan, volunteers serve semle and hot drinks, at Rutbergshotellet grilling is on offer and a nice cabin to dry off.
Skulebacken
Simply put, Skule has one of the most breathtaking ski runs in middle Sweden, a view that looks out into the frozen archipelago. And it has Toppstugen, a terrific cafe and lunch place and nature tourism operator Jerry Engström as added bonuses. Closed until 2022 for renovation, it'll be the place to go when it reopens.
Solbergbacken
Slightly farther out (1.5 hours from Övik) is the first resort to open the season, Solbergbacken. Excellent runs, good lifts and chalet it's an ideal place to rent a cabin for the weekend. Good cross country nearby as well.
